2. Basics
This is a static informational website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, embeds no third-party content (such as external fonts, maps or videos), and has no contact forms. Fonts are served from our own host. No usage profiles are created.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted with Cloudflare (Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich, Germany / Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit the site, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data (in particular IP address, date and time of access, requested resource, browser and operating-system information) to deliver the site and to ensure the security and stability of the service.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of the website). Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer relies on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, on EU standard contractual clauses. Log data is deleted by the hosting provider according to its retention schedules; we do not evaluate logs ourselves.
4. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (email address, name, message content) to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the inquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries). The data is deleted once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), as well as the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
6. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place. Providing personal data is neither legally nor contractually required; without it, we simply cannot answer your inquiry.
